International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated around the world, and marks a time for the City to acknowledge women’s success and contribution in the workplace and in society.

The City of London Corporation is delighted to be hosting a champagne breakfast at the Great Hall, in the Guildhall on Friday 6 March 2009 from 8.30 am for 9.00 am – 10.45 am. Bringing together 300 men and women from across the City, this prestigious event will offer excellent networking opportunities.

Any additional sponsorship funds raised will go directly to REFUGE, the national women and children’s charity fighting against domestic violence. REFUGE provides specialist accommodation for more than 900 at risk women and children every day. Your support will help them carry out their vital work. Visit www.refuge.org.uk
